March 8, BIO Channel presents the two-hour special, "Scott Hamilton: Return to the Ice" chronicling the Gold Medal Olympians return to skating after beating a life-threatening brain tumor. The special chronicles the 51 year old as he trains harder than ever before to make a comeback, and culminates with his first public performance on the ice in five years, at his 10th annual cancer-fundraising skating show, "An Evening with Scott Hamilton and Friends" at the Cleveland Clinic the very hospital that helped him through his battle with cancer in 1997, and his brain tumor in 2004. Scott Hamilton has spent a lifetime defying the odds, with skating always being credited in part for his return to health. Adopted at six weeks old, Scott later suffered from a mysterious illness at age two that stunted his growth. It wasn't clear if he'd live, but at age 9, he took up figure skating, and eventually, the frail kid became a powerful competitor: a four-time World Champion, the 1984 Gold Medal Olympian and a United States Olympic Hall of Fame inductee. In 1997, he was diagnosed with testicular cancer, but fought his way back and was on the ice in just a few short months. Then in 2004, Scott was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor, but his indomitable spirit brought him through yet another tragedy. Throughout his battles, Scott became a best-selling author, philanthropist, figure skating commentator and World Champion. He has also appeared on film and television, as well as hosting several network specials. For the 2010 Olympic Games, Scott will again serve as network commentator for the figure skating competitions.

WILLAIM SHATNER CAST IN "SHIT MY DAD SAYS" PILOT

Released by Miss TV Girl

Wiiliam Shatner has been cast in the very popular Twitter "Shit My Dad Says" pilot .  If picked up this will be the first regualr series role for Shatner since his run as Denny Crane on "Boston Legal".

I happen to follow the "Shit My Dad Says" twitter and I think this is the perfect role for Shatner.

Fans of Boston Legal will completely agree with me  After years of watching and listening to the shit that would come out of Denny Crane's mouth, this role will be  a walk in the park for Shatner.

MISCHA BARTON TO GUEST-STAR ON "LAW & ORDER:SVU IN MARCH

Released by Miss TV Girl

NBC has confirmed that Mischa Barton will guest-star of "Law & Order":SVU" on the March 3 episode.

Barton has been cast as a prostitute named Gladys.

I really believe that with Barton's recent  troubles, she should really consider taking some more positive roles.  Consider, the last character she played was a drugged out model on the cancelled CW series "Beautiful Life".

I know that it's just acting , but if your real life is filled with half of the drama that the public is led to believe, continuing to play such damaged characters can't be good for the spirit.

"Law & Order:SVU" returns with new episodes this Wednesday

ALAN CUMMINGS TO GUEST STAR ON "THE GOOD WIFE"

Released by Miss TV Girl

Alan Cumming, known to TV audiences for his roles on The L Word and SyFy's Tin Man mini-series, has landed a guest arc on CBS's The Good Wife.

Cummings will be playing an image consultant named Eli Gold sent in to help turn around Peter(Chris Noth)career.

Hopfully this seems to signal a bigger storyline for Chris Noth.  The chemistry between Noth and Julianne Margulies is great.  They manage to say so much without speaking a word.

ALEX O'LOUGHLIN TO STAR IN "HAWAII FIVE-O

Released by Miss TV Girl

Alex O'Loughlin has been cast in the lead role of the CBS remake "Hawaii F-O" as Steve McGarrett.  I guess CBS still  has a lot of faith in the actor, this will be his third series with the network.

O'Loughlin previous series "Moonlight" and "Three River" failed to find an audience and were cancelled after one season.

I am a big fan of his and would love to see him in a series that will garner a large fan base and stick around a little longer than one season.

I know that I will be tuning in to see this "Hawaii Five-O" remake from "Fringe" co-creators Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci and "CSI:NY executive producer/co showrunner Peter Lenkov.

O'Loughlin will join recently cast "Lost" co-star Daniel Dae Kim, who will play Detective Chin Ho Kelly.

I really hope that this is just the season finale and not series finale, but if so it has been a great ride.

9 SCOOPS FROM THE "LIFE UNEXPECTED" CAST

Released by Natalie Abrams/TV Guide

Now that Lux (Britt Robertson) and Life Unexpected have found a home on the CW, it's time to dig into what's next for the family that puts the "fun" in dysfunctional. TVGuide.com caught up with the cast, who revealed what's ahead, including a possible wedding, some radio station antics and a huge blowup that will find a character on her own for a while.

1. Will everything be perfect for this new family? "Crumble would be the theme of the season, or chaos or stupid madness," said Kerr Smith. "It just gets really crazy. Cate's world breaks down, due to her own making. By Episode 4 [Monday at 9/8c] it starts to get a little nuts." And by Episode 7, Ryan finds out about Cate and Baze sleeping together in the pilot. "When that happens, Lux leaves, boom, Ryan leaves, boom," added Kristoffer Polaha.

Life Unexpected's Shiri Appleby previews the fallout of Cate and Baze sleeping together

2. What happens when the Baze-Cate secret comes out? "Lux is so angry at Cate that she just outs them," said Shiri Appleby. "It comes out and Cate goes through a process where Ryan and Lux get mad at her, and she becomes really humbled because she's left all alone due to the choices she's made in her past. ... Everything starts falling apart, she's constantly eating junk food, drinking wine and the house is a disaster."

3. Are Cate and Baze soul mates? "Cate and Baze have one of those love-hate relationships where you really do like that person, want their approval and want it to be good, but at the same time, it's just so easy to hate them," said Polaha. "Baze's thing with Cate is 'I just want to pinch your cheeks and kiss you.'"

4. Who else starts playing daddy? "Ryan asks this woman to marry him and she has a lot of luggage," said Smith. "Not only in her own head, but she has a child all of a sudden, so Ryan has to be the kind of guy to deal with that thing. Lux is a great girl and she's somebody that is looking for a family and Ryan is the kind of guy that's willing to give that to her."

5. Will Lux finally accept that she has a family? "You'll see throughout the episodes that Lux does loosen up on Cate a little bit and realizes that she is trying, does love Lux and wants to be a mother figure," said Robertson. "It takes a little bit of fixing to figure it out." Just like any family, though, they will continue to have drama. "There's a point in time where Lux realizes a lot of her feelings towards Cate and Baze and basically unloads on them."

6. Will Lux be able to hang onto her own love? "She ends up being in a different place than Bug is at a certain point," said Robertson. "At the same time, he's been there for her for a couple years now. They've been together and they love each other. A relationship like that just doesn't dissolve whether you're connected or not. They have a lot of issues they have to work out in coming episodes."

Life Unexpected creator: Cate and Baze are not soul mates

7. How will Baze continue to cause drama? "We get Baze in the radio station at one point as a guest host and, of course, you can imagine how that goes and how Ryan feels about it," said Smith. "It's a nightmare," added Appleby. "He tells people that Cate used to wear headgear, she was flat-chested and dating her thesaurus. Ryan is not thrilled with it at all."

8. Will we learn more about Lux's life before she found her family? "Lux and I are stuck in the radio station by ourselves," said Smith. "It's a downpour type of situation. It's that kind of episode where we're at the mikes and Ryan is trying to get her to loosen up a bit. We end up really getting into her life story. It's the first time we really do the flashbacks and hear what she actually went through."

9. Will there be wedding bells in the season finale? "We're building towards a wedding," said Appleby, but don't expect the nuptials to actually take place. "Put it this way, a wedding will be planned," said executive producer Liz Tigelaar.  Smith added, "That [engagement] ring changes hands a lot of times this year."

"SUPERNATURAL" CELEBRATES 1OOTH EPISODE AND THANKS THE FANS

Released by Miss TV Girl

"Supernatural" recently celebrated the filming of its 100th episode and I truly hope that this is not the last season. From the "Thank You" messages it sounds like the cast and crew may be up for more seasons. I really hope so, because Supernatural continues to get better every season and that is saying a lot when it is already such a great show.

I would like to also give the cast and crew a personal "Thank You" for continuing year after year to entertain the fans, like myself who are truly committed to the Winchester brothers and their fight to rid the world of evil.

Below is the "Thank You" video clip from the cast and crew.

HENRY WINKLER SIGNS UP FOR RECURRING ROLE ON "ROYAL PAINS"

Released by Miss TV Girl

Henry Winkler ("Happy Days," "Arrested Development") will recur in season two of "Royal Pains", as Eddie R. Lawson, the absentee father to Hank and Evan. Season one concluded with a cliffhanger after Hank learned that their father had taken the majority of HankMed's funds.

Eddie arrives unannounced in the Hamptons, determined to reinsert himself into his sons' lives and make up for lost time. But his motives are unclear at best. He will have a considerable impact on HankMed, as Hank and Evan grow divided over whether family reunions are always something to celebrate.

Royal Pains has been picked up for a 18-episode second season.
